Program Overview

The B.Tech + M.Tech in Defence Technology is an exciting 5-year integrated dual-degree program that opens the door to a future in India’s Growing Defence and Aerospace Sector.

This program is ideal for students who dream of contributing to the Nation’s Security, Advanced Technology, and Innovation.

From the very first year, students learn about Modern Defence Systems, Advanced Materials, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Missiles, Aeronautics, and Naval Technologies.

The course combines strong theoretical knowledge with practical learning through experiments, design projects, and industry exposure.

Throughout the program, students develop critical technical and analytical skills that prepare them for a wide range of careers in Defence Design, Research and Development (R&D), Manufacturing, Testing, annd Maintenance of Defence Equipment.

A unique feature of this program is the major project or thesis carried out in collaboration with leading national organizations such as DRDO (Defence Research and Development Organization), Defence Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), and top private Defence industries. This gives students the rare opportunity to Work with Real Defence Technologies and gain hands-on experience before graduation.

By the end of the program, graduates are well-prepared for rewarding careers in Defence Technology Companies, Research Institutions, Government Organisations, or even to start their own Defence-Tech Ventures under India’s growing “Start-up Defence” initiative.
